Smoothie Feast, Day 7-end on a high note!

Hi everybody,

I decided this would be my last smoothie feast day. It's gotten really cold here in New England and I am wanting some warming denser foods now. I did enjoy this experience very much and will likely do another cleanse in the spring when the temperatures warm up!

Smoothie Feast, Day 6- Back in the Saddle again

Hi everybody,

Yesterday Greg came home with fresh sushi for me! He completely forgot that I was eating smoothie's only. Oh no, one of my favorite treats, fresh organic brown rice and amazing fresh tuna and salmon!

So, what did I do you wonder? Did I cave?  Um, well, er...oh yeah, I caved. I kept looking at it, smelling it, I was done and I knew it. I was already craving something to chew...so yep, I sat down and I ate a few pieces with wasabi and coconut amino's (a great soy sauce/tamari  alternative)

Smoothie Feast, Day 5

Ok, so it's day 5 of my smoothie feast. I'm feeling a bit under the weather, but not enough to keep me down.

Last night I was really craving crunchy food. I lived it through Greg who was snacking, so I managed to get to the place of enjoying listening to him crunch and feeling like I was being satisfied for it. Wow, that was awfully big of me! Even I was suprised!

This head cold is keeping me rather slurpy and slow moving. Today, woke up and drank 2 cups water with lemon, (sneeze, snarfle, sneeze)

Woke up feeling rather cranky in my detox. Hmm...

2 cups spring water with lemon...yeah yeah, I know it's good for me...lol

Walked the pooch in the park, it was cccccoooold today. Did manage to have a great walking meditation and shake the crankies (yeah me, good job)

So I decided, since things were a little dicey today...another chocolate smoothie was in order. In fact, I'd say, rather medicinal actually! ;-))

So, here it is again with an immune boosting punch:

1 cup cashew milk

Smoothie Feast, Day 3-Chocolate Smoothie

Hi everybody,

I've put up day 3 when I am actually on day 4 (in case some of you smarty pants think I might have skipped a day) because it is easier for me to have you follow what I completed yesterday then to post what I am thinking of having today..this way you get all my final notes too. Was it good? How did I feel, what would I change..etc.

So, Day 3

Upon waking, 2 cups fresh water with lemon.

And then......

My famous raw chocolate milkshake smoothie! So many of you have asked me for the recipe, so here it is:

1 1/2 cups cashew milk

Ok, smoothie feast day 2. Both the smoothie recipe and the soup recipe for today are courtesy of Rochelle Hanson.

Upon rising, drank 2 cups water with lemon

1 cup warm he sho wou tea

wait until first signs of hunger-

Avocado Smoothie-

All I can say is wow! This one is like a creamy desert. It's rich and filling too..I can only take small amounts and I feel like I want to chew as I drink it. It is loaded with all your essential amino acids, protein, good fats, Omega's, hydrating and not like any other smoothie I've ever made.

Smoothie Feast, Day 1

Wake up, 2 cups fresh water

(walk furry and get this body moving...and wait until hungry)

Green Smoothie:

1 apple, 1 pear, 2 frozen bananas, 1/2 head romain lettuce, 1/2 bag sunflower sprouts, 1 orange, 2 stalks celery, 1/4 lemon with peel, 1/2 " slice ginger, 1 tbsp almond butter, 1 cup coconut water, fill to 1/2 with spring water, 1 tbsp maca, 2 tsp camu camu powder, 1 tbsp ormus greens, 1 tsp Merlin's herbal elixir, handful of ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.

 

I'll drink this slowly (and chew) throughout the whole afternoon.

 

It's Official, I'm on a Smoothie Feast!

So like my partner Sanne here, 2012 seemed to kick off with one heck of a virus for me. It's been 3 1/2 weeks and I'm still snarfling and snuffeling, so I decided to bring out the big guns and go full on smoothie nutrition and see just how juicy and sparkly I can get!

Holy crap! What was i thinking? 

Yes i wanted to clean my liver because i was done with all my fysical challenges. And yes i dicided to do it in combination of juice fast. Just to be sure and do it totally commited. Like i asked for myself to get everything out of me that is holding me back of health.
